All I can say is this is very interesting. Despite his eulogy being written with the nonsensical line breaks of a free verse poem composed by the worst of kind of creative writing student, one gets the sense that Bity was one special dog. (If you can't read the last line, what it says is, "Sorry I didn't go to your funeral I was too broken up that day.") The whole thing is just kind of sad, in the pathetic and non-pathetic sense of the word. Grief will make people do some strange things. Still, I'm sure he got a better eulogy than I'll get because I don't always enjoy parties, unlike Bity.
PS
I'm sure Henry James would have loved Bity.
